As a project manager with expertise in digital implementation, knowledge management and communications, I thrive on distilling complexity and bringing new products to life through a systems approach. My work is methodical and pragmatic; my nature is flexible and resilient.
I have spent most of my career in humanitarian and pubic sector work, and I’m passionate about continuing to support diverse communities through digital advancements.
I have recently left New Zealand to resume my life and career in Europe, and am keen to get stuck in. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or opportunities – always happy to discuss.
Core competencies
Adaptable
Living and working in +7 countries, immersed in various cultures, I am not only good at adapting to various situations, but I have come to enjoy the constant shift.
User focused
The experience of the end user drives my development process, my reflexive questions and my desired outcomes.
Continuous improvement
Being detail oriented allows me to see where processes, products, communication can be improved, and it’s difficult not to act on it once you’ve seen it.
Effective communication
The ability to communicate with different methods, on different levels, distilling complex information to ensure literal and emotional comprehension.
Collaborative
Although I prefer to work on my own, when it comes sharing knowledge, or to problem-solving and coming up with new ideas, there is no better way to get new perspectives than through conversation with colleagues and those from entirely different work areas and stages of life.
Tools and technology
There are hundreds of tools for project management, change management, graphic design and communications. Instead of using every tool in your basket just because it’s available to you, it’s important to use the right tool for the task at hand – and knowing which one to use is half the battle. Some of the tools I have expertise in:
Productivity
- Microsoft Office 365
(Teams, Outlook, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Planner, Forms) - Jira
- Trello
Web & Knowledge
- SharePoint on-prem and online
- Salesforce
- WordPress and various CMS
- Google Analytics
- CSS, HTML
Communication & Design
- Adobe
(PDF, Indesign, Illustrator) - Zoom
- Miro
- Canva
- MailChimp, SurveyMonkey
